We paired Kyrie Irving with a Chardonnay
Kyrie Irving is undeniably a remarkable player in league today. He is not only known to be an aggressive athlete and a tough guy to defend, but also well respected for his ball handling skills and dribbling capabilities, which makes him a relentless player on the court. Kyrie Irving’s talents are so special, that they even caught the attention and respect of the late NBA giant himself, Kobe Bryant, who spent much of his time supporting the growth and development of Kyrie’s skills and character. However, Kyrie’s attitude off the court can be very unpredictable which rubs many of his teammates, coaches, and even fans the wrong way, making Kyrie a less desirable player to compete with or root for. Regardless of his skillset and basketball accolades, few people would unfortunately consider him to be a divisive person, which is why we paired him with a Chardonnay
Chardonnay is one of the most popular white wines in the US and his highly known for having strong buttery or oaky flavors that are either appreciated by some or despised by others. While oaked Chardonnay is most notable for exuding these prominent buttery, nutty, and vanilla flavors, unoaked Chardonnay exhibits softer notes of apple, peach, or pear which creates an even greater divide between the lovers and haters of Chardonnay. Regardless, the oaked or unoaked version of Chardonnay is undeniably delicious AND depending on your palate, you’ll know exactly whether you want another sip or will just simply pass.
