We paired Giannis Antetokounmpo with a Orange Wine
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant players in the NBA today, gaining the respect and praise from basketball legends such as Shaquille O’Neal. His long frame and 7’3 wingspan, allow him to glide up and down the court in as few steps as possible, where he can dominate as both an offensive and defensive player. While Giannis is one of the tallest players in the NBA now, he has great coordination, fluid motion, and quickness that make him an unstoppable contender on both sides of the court. Giannis is not only admired for his physical skill and talent, but also his will and desire to get better. He did not enter the NBA with the best jump shot and offensive skills, but with time and determination he was able to become a well-rounded player and the most recent NBA All-star MVP. This is why we paired him with an Orange Wine
Orange wine is a white wine that is prepared using the same methods that are used to make red wine, which tends to be fuller in body with more tannin structure. Much like the dominance and physical game of Giannis, these wines are the one of the most dominant white wines that exists and genuinely belong in a class of their own. They really can come in two forms that stand on opposite sides of the spectrum of flavor profiles, reminiscent of the dominant set of offensive and defensive skills that Giannis has. On one end orange wines can be nutty, oaky, and creamy, whereas on the other end they can be more acidic, highlighting citrus and tropical notes, such as jackfruit or bruised apple. Regardless, these wines are extremely bold white wines that bear many of the strong and robust characteristics that you find with red wines.
