We paired Carmelo Anthony with a Prosecco
Carmelo Anthony is a hall of famer who is known for being an incredibly versatile scorer with an insane jab step. But unfortunately, since he is not the best defender, he is one of the most misunderstood athletes in NBA history. You may not believe how talented he actually is if you solely listen to all the negative commentary that is said about him in the media. One thing is for sure, Melo is well respected by his teammates and competitors in the NBA, and Like many of the notable athletes that we love to praise, Carmelo Anthony is an excellent scorer, great rebounder and exceptional offensive player, which is why we paired him with a Prosecco.
Prosecco is one of the most popular sparkling wines out there and is loved by many, but it can unfortunately be misunderstood as being a cheaper and lesser than version of Champagne, just as NBA fans may feel about Carmelo Anthony. Proseccos are actually really delicious and packed with many enjoyable notes of citrus, melon, and pear and have medium levels of sweetness that make it a perfect wine to share with any small or large group of friends. And while Proseccos have gained much recognition and likeability among American consumers, many would mistakenly choose a champagne over a Prosecco. However, sometimes a Prosecco can be just as good if not better than a champagne depending on your palate. Regardless, it should be noted that Proseccos are actually derived from Italy, whereas Champagne is derived from France. So, it’s pretty difficult to directly compare these two to each other.
